Pull over if you see these cruisers headed your way

The Bluffton Police Department’s Traffic Team has a new look out on the roads with new sedans to help officers catch dangerous drivers.

The sedans began hitting the streets over the past weekend, according to a Bluffton Police Department news release.

The vehicles are black instead of regular blue patrol SUVs, the release said.

The two-officer traffic team was created after the department received a grant for $205,000 from the S.C. Department of Public Safety earlier this year.

The team’s goal is to remove aggressive and dangerous drivers from roadways, the release said.
