Investigation continues after fatal Bluffton shooting

The Bluffton Police Department has not yet released any more information concerning the fatal shooting of Roy Leon Hamilton of Bluffton on Friday night.

Hamilton, 21, was killed near Shults Road and Goethe Road in Bluffton. Another person was injured and taken to the hospital. Joy Nelson, the department’s spokesperson, said the other victim’s condition is unknown and the identity has yet to be released.

Thomas Bush, 29, was arrested and faces murder and attempted murder charges, according to a news release from the police department.

“As of right now, we are not releasing any more information,” Nelson said, adding more information is anticipated to be released Monday.
