Two-vehicle crash on S.C. 170 sends one to hospital

A two-vehicle crash on S.C. 170 and Cherry Point Road sent one person to the hospital, according to a news release from the Bluffton Township Fire District.

Fire district and Beaufort County EMS were sent to the intersection about 9 a.m. and found one of the vehicles on its side.

One lane of S.C. 170 south bound was closed during the incident. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating. The Hardeeville Fire Department also responded to the scene.
