Bluffton man charged with assaulting minors in mobile home park

A 40-year-old Bluffton man is facing charges of sexually assaulting two minors after he was arrested in the Shady Glen Mobile Home Park in Bluffton early Saturday morning.

Inocente Tadeo-Garcia, of Bluffton, was arrested at about 3 a.m. Saturday after deputies with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Department responded to calls reporting that two juveniles were touched inappropriately inside a Shady Glen home, according to the sheriff’s office.

Tadeo-Garcia was charged with two counts of first-degree assault and battery, a felony offense that on conviction holds a sentence of up to 10 years in prison.

Tadeo-Garcia was listed as an inmate in the Beaufort County Detention Center on Sunday with a $15,000 bond set for each count.
