A 55-year-old Hilton Head Island woman visiting Utah with her husband suffered injuries from a zip line accident and died Friday, according to a report in The Salt Lake Tribune.

The woman, identified in the report as Lisa Lambe, was visiting Sundance Mountain Resort. The two were on separate lines at the attraction in Utah County when she failed to reach the end of the ride, according to sheriff’s Sgt. Spencer Cannon.

The newspaper report said she was found suspended in a harness and had to be brought to the ground. When authorities arrived, she was unconscious and not breathing. First aid was given and she was taken to Utah Valley Regional Medical Center, but she could not be revived, the newspaper reported.

A sheriff's office news release put out Saturday said Lambe suffered internal injuries during her descent. Exactly how she was injured was still the subject of investigation Saturday.
