Sheriff’s Office seeks public help to identify shoplifters

The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office is hoping someone will help them identify a trio of apparent shoplifters who stole shoes from a Tanger Outlet Center store March 1.

Surveillance images show two men and a woman in the Saks Off Fifth store at the Bluffton shopping center taking shoes out of boxes and putting them in bags they came into the store with. When a store employee confronted them, they left the store and drove off in a new, black Audi.

The store reported about $330 in losses.

Anyone with information about the incident can contact the investigator by calling (843) 255-3308, or call Beaufort County Dispatch at (843) 524-2777. They also can call Crime Stoppers at 888-CRIME-SC (888-274-6372) or text “TIPSC” and a message to “CRIMES” (274637).
