Hilton Head tourist: I was attacked with baby powder
A woman vacationing on Hilton Head Island called deputies on Sunday after she said baby powder was thrown in her face.
A deputy was sent to a residence on South Forest Beach Drive where the woman said she heard a knock on the door around 6 p.m., according to the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office report. When she opened the door, she did not see anyone and was then hit by a plate full of baby powder, the report said.
She said she heard several more knocks at the door for the next hour but did not answer and could not see who it was through the home's shutters, the report said.
Deputies were unable to find anything suspicious in the area.
