Car crashes into pond behind Bluffton Bi-Lo

An abandoned vehicle was found Wednesday morning in a pond behind the Bluffton Bi-Lo supermarket.

The Bluffton Township Fire District and Beaufort County EMS responded around 7 a.m., and found no one inside the vehicle, according to Capt. Randy Hunter.

The registered owner was eventually located and the incident is under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
