A woman accused of robbing a Tanger Outlet jewelry store at gunpoint in September and several other jewelry stores throughout the South was arrested by the FBI on Friday.

Abigail Kemp, 24, was taken into custody in Georgia, according to a report by Savannah television station WSAV.

Kemp, originally from Cobb County, allegedly stole millions of dollars worth of jewelry in Georgia, Tennessee, Florida, North Carolina and from Jared Jewlers at Tanger Outlet Two in Bluffton on Sept. 2.

Kemp allegedly forced employees to the back of the store at gunpoint before taking jewelry. No one was injured during the incident.

The FBI said agents used Kemp's social media account to link her to a getaway vehicle used in the robberies.

She is expected to appear before a federal judge in the Northern Georgia District Monday, according to WSAV.
