Bluffton man charged with sexual conduct with minors

A Bluffton man accused of sexual conduct with two minors between 2006 and 2010 was arrested Tuesday morning.

Joseph Hunter, 70, was charged with one count of first-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor and one third-degree count of the same charge, according to a Beaufort County Sheriff's Office news release.

Investigations into the allegations led to Hunter's arrest where law enforcement also served a warrant to locate images and information about those allegations and other incidents he may have been involved in.

Several electronic devices were seized from his residence that will be sent for forensic examination by the Sheriff's Office computer crimes laboratory.
