Bluffton fire district seeks potential firefighters

The Bluffton Township Fire District will host a recruitment drive for its 2016 hiring process from Monday to Feb. 15.

The district is looking for those interested in becoming career firefighters to meet to review the district's benefits package and salary.

The district will host a job fair from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Jan. 30 at Station 35 at 357 Fording Island Road in Bluffton.

The fair will focus on public safety and include the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office, the Bluffton Police Department, the town of Bluffton, Beaufort County Emergency Management to recruit dispatchers and the S.C. Highway Patrol.
