Update: Missing Bluffton woman found safe

The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office has reported that a woman who jumped out of a vehicle on Simmonsville Road in Bluffton on Tuesday afternoon and was reported missing has been found safe.

The woman jumped out of a family member's car around 3:45 p.m., according to a Sheriff's Office news release.

She was later found in a Bluffton residence unharmed.
