Bomb threat investigation ongoing at Hilton Head Christian Academy
An investigation continues into a bomb threat that disrupted classes at Hilton Head Christian Academy last week.
The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office is combing Internet records and continuing the "involved process" of identifying the individual who emailed a threat to the school Dec. 3, Capt. Bob Bromage said Wednesday. He would release further information.
The email prompted a lockdown as deputies searched the school, finding nothing. The lockdown was lifted at 2 p.m.
School administrators were not immediately available for comment Wednesday morning.
