St. Gregory students to hold first responders mass in Bluffton

Students at St. Gregory the Great Catholic School in Bluffton will hold their second annual "Blue Mass" at 8:30 a.m. Friday at the main church, 323 Fording Island Road, according to a news release.

A "Blue Mass" is a mass in which all first responders, both active and retired, are honored and prayed for.

Local firefighters, police, military and others associated with the public's safety have been invited to the event.
