Chatham County, Ga., fugitive arrested in Hardeeville
A fugitive from the Chatham County (Ga.) Department of Corrections was apprehended in a Hardeeville motel Tuesday.
The Southeastern U.S. Marshal Fugitive Taskforce and the Hardeeville Police Department located Christopher Shuman at the motel, according to a news release from the City of Hardeeville.
Shuman was wanted on escape charge, the release said.
He was taken to the Jasper County jail and awaits extradition to Georgia.
