Man touches himself in truck's reverse camera, report says
A Bluffton woman who was accosted by a man in a parking lot at the Tanger Outlet center said her truck's reverse camera caught the man fondling himself as he refused to move, according to an incident report from the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office.
The woman and her daughter were leaving a store in the Tanger Outlet 2 shopping center Saturday when the man approached the back of her truck, crouching down behind the truck to appear in the vehicle's reverse camera. The woman, believing she was about to be robbed, locked the doors and put the truck back into park, the report said.
When the man didn't approach the truck's window, she put the vehicle back into reverse and began honking the horn. The woman continued to honk until the man walked away from the truck.
The man was described as African-American between 20 and 50 years old, about 5 feet, 2 inches tall, weighing 140 pounds with short black hair. He was wearing khaki shorts and a light gray t-shirt, the report said.
