New photos: Electrical malfunction believed behind sailboat blaze

A Monday sailboat fire near Salty Fare landing on Hilton Head Island that resulted in no injuries was likely caused by an electrical malfunction, fire officials said.

The blaze was put out by the Town of HIlton Head Island Fire and Rescue Division around 1 p.m. after it began at 12:50 p.m., Fire Marshal Joheida Fister of the department said.
