Two Beaufort men arrested in armed robbery

Two Beaufort men were arrested Friday and charged with armed robbery, according to the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office.

Quinton Darnel Delaney Jr., 20, was charged with armed robbery and pointing a firearm at a person.

Dontarious Jaron Wright, 21, was charged with armed robbery, the Sheriff's Office said. Both men were being held at the Beaufort County Detention Center for prosecution pending a bond hearing.

It was not immediately known whether the arrests are connected to the same incident or when the incident or incidents occurred. The officer on duty Saturday could not provide further information.
