Bluffton crime spree suspects sought by Beaufort Co. Sheriff’s Office
The Beaufort County Sheriff’s office is looking for two suspects in a spree of crimes in Bluffton, and are asking for the public’s help, according to a June 30 alert from law enforcement.
Vernon Tramayne Pope Jr., 18 and Arthur Lee Edwards Jr., 19, both of Pineland, are wanted for first degree burglary, criminal conspiracy, grand larceny of a motor vehicle, five counts of breaking into a motor vehicle and three counts of petit larceny.
These charges stem from June 23 and 24, when sheriff’s deputies responded to multiple reports of suspicious activity, vandalism, vehicle break-ins and a stolen vehicle at The Estate at Westbury in Bluffton.
The subsequent investigation identified Pope Jr. and Edwards Jr. as suspects.
