According to Sheriff’s Office Spokesperson Maj. Angela Viens, James, 26, got into an argument with another woman near the shopping area on Boundary St. The dispute culminated in James firing a weapon. It’s unknown what the argument was over and the woman, whose identity was not shared, was not injured in the shooting.

When a deputy arrived they found shell casings on the ground and multiple witnesses described James’ car and license plate. At around 1:23 her car was located near the Parris Island Gateway and County Shed Road where she was arrested. A firearm was recovered from the car.
