No one arrested for early Wednesday morning shooting at Beaufort apartments

An argument between neighbors at the Mossy Oaks Apartments in Beaufort ended with one hospitalized after shots were fired.

The Beaufort Police Department responded to a shooting call at around 1:15 a.m. Wednesday at Johnny Morrall Circle, the Mossy Oaks Apartments in Beaufort. Officers were on scene through the early morning at least until nearly 7:30 a.m.

An unidentified victim was taken to Beaufort Memorial Hospital for non-life-threatening wounds, according to the department’s spokesperson Stephenie Price.

However, no arrest was made. Price was not able to provide why no one was arrested or if Beaufort Police is still looking for the shooter.
