Sheriff’s Office investigating shooting at St. Helena gas station that left 1 man injured
Police are searching for suspects involved in a Wednesday night shooting at a St. Helena gas station that left one man injured, according to an alert sent from the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies arrived at Parker’s Kitchen off of U.S. 21 around 10 p.m. Wednesday after receiving a report of shots fired. No victims or suspects were found inside the building, according to the alert.
The victim of the shooting was later identified at Beaufort Memorial Hospital, where he was being treated for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his leg.
Although there were multiple witnesses inside the gas station, no witnesses have been identified as of Thursday morning, according to Sgt. Danny Allen, a spokesperson for the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office.
