Police identify 32-year-old man found dead on side of Beaufort County road
A man found dead on the side of a Beaufort County road Tuesday afternoon has been identified as a St. Helena Island man.
Donta Williams, 32, was found on the side of Prayer House Road on St. Helena, a Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office news release says.
It says Williams appears to have died as a result of multiple gunshot wounds.
A forensic autopsy is scheduled for Friday at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.
