17-year-old girl from Beaufort area missing for over a week, police say

The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a 17-year-old Burton girl who was last seen at her home 10 days ago.

Jasmine Coleman, 17, was last seen at 3 p.m. on July 15, according to Sheriff’s Office Maj. Bob Bromage.

“She is considered a runaway, and her family is concerned for safety,” he said.

Bromage said that while the Sheriff’s Office has information Coleman has left the county, deputies continue to try to find her.

“Jasmine may travel to Charleston, SC, Granger, Ohio or to Tennessee. She may dye her hair a different color,” according to an advisory from National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.

Anybody with information can call the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office dispatch at 843-524-2777 or the NCMEC at 1-800-843-5678.
