Expect to see a ‘heavy police presence’ at Bluffton’s May River High School today

Bluffton motorists can expect to see a “heavy police presence” at May River High School today — but it’s not a crime scene.

The Bluffton Police Department will be conducting an Emergency Vehicle Operations Course training in the school parking lot Monday afternoon, according to Beaufort County School District spokeswoman Candace Bruder.

The training is expected to last from noon to 5 p.m.
