Babkiewicz said Bluffton police had been investigating the funds taken over time from Morris’ Garage & Towing.

The owners told police they suspected Hill, a 30-year employee of the company, Babkiewicz said..

Police investigated Palmetto State Bank transfers, which allegedly showed Hill transferring money from the business account of of the garage to her personal account, according to an arrest warrant.

Police also accuse Hill of forging the owner’s signature on a business check and then cashing it for personal use, according to another arrest warrant.
