Sheriff’s Office: Beaufort County woman reported missing Wednesday found safe

The family of a 40-year-old Burton woman, who was reported missing Wednesday night amid fears that she may be in danger, was found safe in Jasper County, according to a Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office news release.

Sofia Adame-Najera’s family had last seen her around 3 p.m. Monday headed toward Joe Frazier Road along Murray Drive, where she lived.

She was found unharmed on Thursday morning.
