Officials identify couple found dead inside Hilton Head home. Police investigating
Deputies are investigating the deaths of a husband and wife found inside their Hilton Head Island home Wednesday morning, according a Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office release.
Just after 10 a.m., deputies discovered the bodies when they went to a home in Bryant Park Cottages on Spanish Wells Road to conduct a health and welfare check.
Officials identified the man and woman as Michael Klesh, 39, and Sophie Klesh, 33.
According to Beaufort County tax records, the Kleshes owned the home on Spanish Wells since 2018. Public records indicate the couple lived in Pennsylvania prior to moving to Hilton Head.
It appears the couple also owned a business near their home called GRTmfg Multi-Axis Solutions.
The cause of death is not apparent, the release said. A forensic autopsy will be conducted at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston on Thursday as part of the investigation.
