Update: Elderly man reported missing Tuesday morning from Sun City home found safe
An elderly Sun City man who walked away from his home Monday night and was reported missing Tuesday morning was found safe around 9 a.m., according to a news release from the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office.
Virgil “Jack” Howard, 89, was found close to his home in the Sun City area, the news release said. He left his home on Rain Lilly Lane after 10 p.m. Monday when his family went to bed.
Howard has a medical condition that requires attention, his family told the Sheriff’s Office.
