Pedestrian injured in Beaufort County accident, fire officials say
A 60-year-old man was injured in a pedestrian accident Wednesday evening, said Lt. Ross Vezin, with the City of Beaufort-Town of Port Royal Fire Department.
Vezin said the man was hit by a vehicle at the intersection of Southside Boulevard and Ribaut Road.
The man was transported by ambulance to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
