Couple argues in Bluffton home. Woman uses lacrosse stick, metal stool to end it
A St. Cloud, Fla., woman was charged with second degree domestic violence after she beat her boyfriend with a lacrosse stick and metal stool while their child was home Monday night, according to a Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office report.
The incident happened at a Reserve at Woodbridge apartment in Bluffton after an argument about 6:30 p.m.
After the woman slammed a door, her boyfriend ordered her from the house, saying such behavior was disrespectful to his father’s home, the report said.
As the boyfriend tried to push her from the home, the suspect grabbed a lacrosse stick and hit him in the head and back, the report said.
She left the apartment but came back and the argument began again. This time, the suspect used a metal stool to hit her boyfriend in the ribs.
The victim’s father came home and took the child out of the apartment so the couple could “solve their problems,” the report said.
The suspect was booked into the Beaufort County Detention Center at 9 p.m. Monday and was still detained as of Tuesday afternoon, according to the jail log.
