This Bluffton man faces 8 drug-related charges after deputies searched his apartment
A 35-year-old Bluffton man was arrested Monday after deputies found several different drugs inside his apartment, according to a Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office news release.
Sean Evans faces two counts of sale and distribution of marijuana, one count of sale and distribution of a schedule II drug, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, two counts of possession with intent to distribute a schedule II drug, possession of a schedule II drug and possession of cocaine, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies found an assault rifle, a long rifle, cocaine, approximately 3 lbs. of marijuana and numerous schedule II drugs including methylphenidate hydrochloride, dexmethylphenidate and Adderall, all commonly used to treat ADHD, inside Evans’ Vista View apartment when acting on a search warrant on Monday.
Evans was home at the time of the search and was arrested. He was taken to Beaufort County Detention Center shortly before 2 p.m. and remained there Monday evening, awaiting a bond hearing.
