Bluffton driver said something about Chris Brown. A friend disagreed - with a gun
A woman told deputies that a “friend” pulled a gun on her last month as they drove in Bluffton after she made a comment about pop star Chris Brown.
The incident was reported Saturday to the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office, but happened Jan. 26 in the area of Bluffton Parkway near Bluffton Road, according to a Sheriff’s Office report.
The woman said her friend pointed the gun at her “because of a comment she made about Chris Brown,” the report said. The woman said she felt threatened, but didn’t want the man to know it. She said she waved her hand and told him put the gun away.
“What’s stopping me from shooting you?,” the man allegedly replied.
The woman said she told the man a friend knew her location and that she wouldn’t tell anyone what had happened. The man the put the gun away, the report said. The woman dropped him off shortly afterward.
The woman declined to press charges or have a deputy get in touch with the man.
