A mystery explosive was found in fired employee’s locker at Bluffton biz, police say
An employee cleaning the locker of a fired worker at Sign Pro Plus found what looked like a homemade explosive on Monday, according to a Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office report.
The slender and round drive was taped together with a fuse, states the report released Friday
Everyone in the Bluffton business was immediately evacuated by the owner.
Deputies determined the device was a homemade firework. The report says deputies secured the device.
No other information is provided in the report.
