Daughter assaults father at their Bluffton house and steals car, police reports say
A father said he returned to his Bluffton home Friday to check on his daughter who wasn’t feeling well to find her intoxicated, a Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Report states.
The daughter — who has a history of drug and alcohol abuse — asked to use her father’s car, the report states. The father denied the request at which point she became angry.
She pushed her father to ground before kicking and biting him on the arm, the report states. She then threw the man’s cell phone on the ground and stomped on it multiple times.
The daughter after ran in side and pull the land line phone out of the wall before taking off in her father’s car.
Without a phone, the man was forced to flag down someone driving by to call police, the report states.
He told police he had important work documents in the vehicle along with a gun.
While the home showed signs of a disturbance, deputies did not see any signs of injury on the father.
