Wondering why there were so many cop cars near Okatie?
There was a higher number of Jasper County Sheriff’s Office deputies than usual in a concentrated spot in the Okatie area Thursday night, according to a Sheriff’s Office advisory.
Deputies were in the area of Jasper Station Road, off Argent Boulevard near S.C. 170, after a vehicle chase shortly before 6 p.m., according to the Sheriff’s Office.
