Can these 3 Hilton Head exes live together? Probably not after this reported attack
A man was taken to Hilton Head Hospital Thursday afternoon after he was allegedly beaten by his ex-girlfriend’s ex-husband.
The incident was reported around 5:30 p.m. at a residence on Tanglewood Drive, according to a Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office report.
The victim told a deputy that his ex and her ex-husband came to his residence to discuss a living arrangement between the three of them and that all three were “drinking throughout the daytime hours,” the report said.
As the day went on, the victim said he noticed the woman’s ex-husband developed a “short” and “tempered” attitude, so he asked the man to leave multiple times.
The man walked outside after he had spilled a drink in the kitchen. When he returned, he allegedly punched the victim in the back of the head before he yelled at him and started punching him multiple times in the face, the report said.
The victim then left the residence to call 911.
By the time a deputy arrived, the alleged assailant had left.
The deputy noted in the report that the victim suffered black and blue bruising under his right eye, swelling and bruising on his nose, bruising under his left eye, swelling on his left eyebrow and abrasions between his eyebrows, above his mouth, near his left and right temples, on the right side of his neck, on the left side of his jaw and on the back of his head.
The deputy also wrote in the report that he planned to meet with a judge to obtain an arrest warrant on an assault and battery charge against the ex-husband.
