Is nothing sacred? Woman reports $730 in items stolen from vehicle at Bluffton church
A woman reported $730 in items stolen from her vehicle that was parked at a Bluffton church on Friday night, according to a Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office report.
The woman told deputies that she went inside Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church around 8 p.m., the report said. When she returned around 10:20 p.m., she found the driver’s side window had been broken and that her purse had been stolen.
Inside the purse were the woman’s passport, her credit and debit card and $600 in cash. The vehicle window was valued at $100 and her purse at $30.
A deputy wrote in the report that there were no security cameras near where the woman had parked her vehicle and advised the woman to call her bank to have the credit and debit card canceled.
