Diamond-cutting tools (and cash) stolen from Sea Pines. Man suspects ex-girlfriend
A man returned to this Bluff Villas residence on Hilton Head Island earlier this week to find his sliding glass door open, a Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office report states.
The Bluff Villas are located inside Sea Pines.
He discovered about $50 in change from his bedroom was missing, the report states. He also was missing two diamond core bits for cutting stone. The bits are estimated to be valued at about $118.
The man told police it is possible an ex-girlfriend took the items. The ex-girlfriend last lived at the apartment about four months ago, the report states.
Sea Pines Security said they would keep a lookout for the ex-girlfriend’s vehicle.
