If you get a call like this from a ‘Bluffton firefighter,’ it’s probably a scam
Someone is making calls asking for money for the Bluffton Township Fire District. Don’t fall for it.
The caller is claiming to accept donations on behalf of the fire district, according to a news release provided Tuesday afternoon. The fire district is not currently requesting any money, with the exception of a Family Promise program selling hams.
