Sheriff’s Office responding to accident on 278 at Harbour Passage on Hilton Head
The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office is reporting an accident on Highway 278 at Harbour Passage on Hilton Head Island.
Two vehicles were involved in the accident, and there were no injuries according to Sheriff’s Office spokesman Capt. Bob Bromage.
The accident occurred just before 11 a.m., Bromage said, and left eastbound lane of 278 is currently blocked due to the accident.
The scene of the accident has since been cleared and all lanes are open, according to a Sheriff’s Office tweet.
