A $2,000 chartplotter was reported stolen from a boat at Windmill Harbour Marina Oct. 31, according to a Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office report.

The Raymarine C120 Chartplotter was gray, with an 8-by-10-inch LCD screen, according to the report. It was last seen inside a sailboat cabin on Oct. 26. The cabin was locked and next visited on Oct. 29, when it was discovered missing. The cabin was still locked when it was entered the second day.

No signs of forced entry were found on the 42-foot boat and no tangible evidence was left behind by the thief, according to the report.
