Man shoots multiple rounds in parking lot of Bluffton restaurant

A man fired multiple rounds from a gun into the air from the parking lot of The Brick Chicken, located near Best Buy in Bluffton two witnesses told police Thursday night.

Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office responded to shots fired at the location at about 11 p.m., according to police reports.

A woman at the business said she had talked to the unknown subject earlier in the evening. She said he became angry with her and left the restaurant, the report states.

The man then returned to the business and sat at the bar for some time the woman told police.

Later in the evening she went outside to smoke, the report states. While outside she saw the man enter a truck and then shoot what she thought was 11 to 12 rounds from the window before speeding off.

Another witness said they were standing at the backdoor of the business when they saw the man enter a truck and shoot six to seven rounds into the air.
