A Goose Creek man is accused of recording child pornography
A 21-year-old Goose Creek man is accused recording child pornography and was arrested, according to a South Carolina Attorney General’s Office news release.
Deandre Bernard Powell faces two counts of second degree sexual exploitation of a minor, according to the release. If convicted of the felony charges, he can face up to 10 years in prison for each offense.
Powell allegedly recorded multiple images of nude minors, according to the release. Investigators with the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, including a Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office investigator and the Goose Creek Police Department, arrested Powell on Sunday.
The case will be prosecuted by the S.C. Attorney General’s Office.
