Stocking up for a party? Thief walks out of Bluffton Walmart with 8 cases of beer

A unidentified man recently walked out of the Bluffton Walmart without paying for nearly $175 in beer and food, according to a Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office report released Wednesday.

Among the items stolen include six cases of Heineken, two cases of Bud Light, and chicken wings, the report said.

The shoplifting incident, which occurred Oct. 26, was first reported to police Sunday.

The suspect, described only as “an unknown black male,” was seen leaving the Walmart in a black Cadillac, the report said.

A Walmart employee told deputies that the same man was responsible for another shoplifting incident at the store last month, according to the report.
