After a recent rash of vehicle break-ins, Hardeeville Police Department is encouraging residents to lock their doors and bring valuables inside, according to a city news release.

All of the victims of thefts in the Pine Arbor Road area overnight Tuesday into Wednesday left their vehicles unlocked, according to the release. Any suspicious activity should be reported immediately to police. An exact number of break-ins was not immediately available from the city Wednesday afternoon.
