Suspects sought in theft of sunglasses at Tanger Outlet store in Bluffton
Two individuals allegedly stole $1,720 worth of merchandise from a Bluffton store on Aug. 1.
Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office is asking the community to help identify the two people who are accused of stealing from Sunglass Hut in Tanger Outlet 1 on Fording Island Road, according to a Sheriff’s Office news release.
The pair was seen on surveillance footage entering the store around 4 p.m. and leaving 20 minutes later with six pairs of sunglasses, according to the release. They may also be responsible for a similar theft by another Sunglass Hut store in Savannah, according to the release.
