A rash of vehicle break-ins were reported to Beaufort County Sheriffs Office this week

Saturday’s Beaufort County Sheriffs Office reports included nine vehicle break-ins since July 31 in Bluffton, Okatie and on Hilton Head Island.

Two guns, two sets of keys, $90, a purse, wallet, phone charge and CDs were reported stolen from the vehicles to deputies, the reports show. They also show all but one of the victims claimed to have left their vehicle door unlocked.

Those who reported a breaking and entering to their vehicles lived in the Indigo Run, Marsh Point and Tabby Walk areas of Hilton Head Island. Reports also came from Tillman Street in Bluffton and Parrot Creek in Okatie.
