Burton man awakened to find car window busted, cash stolen

A Burton man woke up Friday morning for work to find that the front passenger side window of his Dodge Charger had been busted out, a Beaufort County Sheriffs Office report states.

The man said several guns in the vehicle were not stolen. His wallet also remained, but about $127 in cash was missing, the report states.

The report says DNA samples were taken from the car in an attempt to identify the thief.
