Hilton Head man pronounced dead in Bluffton Kroger parking lot
A 35-year-old Hilton Head Island man was pronounced dead in the parking lot of the Bluffton Kroger on Sunday after he was found unresponsive in his vehicle.
The 911 call came in around 6 :15 p.m., according to Deputy Coroner David Ott of the Beaufort County Coroner’s Office.
Ott said no foul play was suspected and the man’s body was sent to the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston for an autopsy.
